A lifelong language enthusiast, Ashley Daoust was always an avid reader, consuming books faster than her parents, grandparents, and trips to the library could replenish. Later in school she often found herself musing the English language and assisting her classmates in their understanding of it. The objective case made sense; diagramming sentences was entertaining; and taking to her classmates’ papers with a red pen was a great way to spend breaks between classes. At least, so she thought.
With that proclivity in mind, she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. Her focus within the journalism school was on newswriting and editing, and her outside concentration was a mish-mash of English and linguistics. The language was always her ‘thing.’
Now you can benefit from her robust experience editing academic papers, personal essays, college applications, blog entries and newspaper and magazine articles. View her resume here. To request a pricing estimate, contact Ashley at ashley@adeditorial.com.
